Successful 7-Days Study Visit on “Smart City Development” for the Government Officials in SINGAPORE.

Corporate Training Bangkok -CTB Thailand in association with Management Training Singapore  successfully conducted a 7-Day Training / Study visit on “Smart City Development” for local government leaders from the Royal Government of Bhutan, held from May 16th to 22nd, 2023. The program aimed to explore the significant development of Singapore and its innovative use of the latest applications, tools, techniques, and digital innovation to maintain its balance and greenery despite geographical challenges.

Throughout the program, officials visited various agencies and departments of the Singapore government, including URA, Marina Barrage, Newah Treatment Plant, Department of Land & Transportation, Pinnacle Duxton, and the Housing & Development Board. These visits facilitated knowledge sharing and experience exchange interactions with respective department officials.

In addition to the professional visits, the CTB management team guided participants around Singapore’s iconic landmarks and tourist sites, such as Sentosa, Gardens by the Bay, Marina Bay, Orchard Road, Chinatown, Little India, and East Coast Park. These excursions aimed to showcase how Singapore attracts worldwide tourists to its small yet beautiful city.

On the final day, CTB managed and arranged a farewell event, airport drop-off, and guided the participants inside Changi International Airport, renowned as the best airport in the world, featuring the JEWEL waterfall, the tallest indoor waterfall globally.

Participants were inspired and motivated by Singapore’s development journey, from its foundational efforts to becoming one of the cleanest, most beautiful, and tech-advanced cities globally. Feedback from the Bhutanese officials was overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing their appreciation for the well-organized and insightful program. They highlighted the excellent management and coordination by CTB, which ensured a seamless and enriching experience.
