Corporate Training Bangkok (CTB Thailand) is proud to announce the successful completion of its 5-Day Advanced Credit Risk Management Training & Study Visit in Bangkok. The program was designed and delivered exclusively for the distinguished officials and delegates of the Royal Insurance Corporation of Bhutan Limited (RICBL), Bhutan.

Strengthening Credit Excellence for Bhutan’s Leading Insurer

RICBL holds an important place in Bhutan’s financial sector. Its work protects policyholders, supports responsible lending, and safeguards institutional strength. The 14-member delegation came to Bangkok with a focused goal: to sharpen the credit judgement behind every lending and investment decision the corporation makes.

CTB Thailand built a customized program around that goal, connecting international best practice in credit risk management with the practical realities of RICBL’s own portfolio.

Experienced facilitators guided participants through modern credit risk frameworks, from judging a single borrower’s strength to managing risk across a whole portfolio. Each session was anchored in the decisions participants make in their daily work.

🧩 Case-Based Learning & Group Exercises

Working in small teams, the 14 participants tackled realistic credit scenarios. They analysed borrowers, identified warning signals early, and defended their credit decisions in open discussion. The room stayed lively throughout, with participants questioning assumptions and learning as much from one another as from their facilitators.

💬 Experience Sharing & Peer Exchange

Structured experience-sharing sessions let participants relate international practice to RICBL’s own institutional context. This turned a week of training into a genuine exchange of professional insight.

Experiential Learning Beyond the Classroom

CTB Thailand believes lasting professional growth comes from experience as well as instruction. The program therefore included carefully arranged exposure and study visits, giving participants first-hand insight into how organizations in Thailand manage risk, operations and institutional performance. These visits turned classroom concepts into practical reference points and gave the delegation valuable contact with professionals working in a different market and regulatory environment.

Certificate Ceremony: A Heartfelt Farewell

The program concluded with a certificate ceremony, where all 14 RICBL participants received their certificates of completion. It was a proud moment for the delegation and for the CTB Thailand team, marking the end of an intensive and rewarding week in Bangkok.
