Corporate Training Bangkok Successfully Delivers Strategic Leadership & Organizational Development Program for MPIE, Timor-Leste

Corporate Training Bangkok (CTB Thailand) successfully conducted a Strategic Managerial Leadership & Organization Development training program for senior and mid-level professionals from the Ministry of Planning and Strategic Investment (MPIE), Timor-Leste.

The five-day international training program, held from 14–19 December 2025 at CTB Thailand’s Training Center in Bangkok, brought together 16 distinguished officials and professionals for an intensive, practice-oriented learning experience focused on leadership excellence, strategic thinking, and organizational transformation.

Formal Opening Ceremony & MOU Signing

The Training Opening Ceremony was formally opened by Mr. Celso Manuel Hornai Da Costa Oliveira, Director-General for Administration and Finance of the Ministry of Planning and Strategic Investment (MPIE), Timor-Leste, underscoring the strategic importance of leadership development and institutional capacity building within the ministry.

The opening ceremony also marked a significant milestone with the official signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Corporate Training Bangkok and MPIE, establishing a framework for long-term cooperation in leadership development, professional training, and organizational strengthening.

Strategic & Human-Centric Leadership Learning

The program was designed to equip participants with future-ready managerial and leadership capabilities, combining global leadership frameworks with practical, real-world application.

Key learning areas included:

• Strategic managerial leadership and decision-making

• Transformational and adaptive leadership approaches

• Emotional intelligence, wellbeing, and people-centric management

• Conscious communication and collaborative workplace practices

• Strategic planning frameworks and execution alignment

• Building high-performing and cohesive teams

Interactive discussions, leadership simulations, group exercises, and experiential activities ensured high engagement and immediate applicability of concepts within participants’ institutional contexts.

Cultural Experience at Wat Arun in Thai Traditional Attire

As part of CTB Thailand’s integrated learning approach, participants took part in a cultural exposure visit to Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn). Dressed in traditional Thai attire, participants experienced Thailand’s rich cultural heritage firsthand—fostering cross-cultural appreciation, team bonding, and meaningful engagement beyond the classroom.

This experience reinforced leadership values such as respect, inclusivity, cultural awareness, and shared identity—essential qualities for modern public-sector leadership.

Certification Ceremony & Program Conclusion

The program concluded with a formal certification ceremony and closing session, recognizing participants’ active engagement and successful completion of the training. The concluding session provided an opportunity for reflection, experience sharing, and strengthening professional networks between MPIE officials and the CTB Thailand team.
